Will Green made a steal and hit a free-throw to put Mills up 47-45 with 12 seconds left. Simsbury got off a three pointer for the win but it didn’t fall and Marcos Muniz came up with the defensive rebound to seal the win for the Spartans. The Spartans, who need two wins in their final six games to secure a berth in the CIAC Division III tournament, will travel to Avon on Tuesday night.

Paul Halon scored off a rebound inside to give the Wildcats the lead. Suffield hit a jumper with 3:30 remaining to take a 49-47 but Keefe hit a three-pointer from the corner with 3:01 to give Canton a 50-49 lead.
Shea Flaherty scored inside for Canton with 2:03 left after some nice passing by the Warriors to extend the lead to 52-49. Keefe got a steal with 1:17 left to stop a Suffield possession. With 20.9 seconds, Canny got a steal and drove to the basket. He made the basket and converted the free throw to extend the lead to 55-49. Canton snapped a five-game losing streak with the win.
